Zachary’s Paws for Healing Announces Partnership with Royal Canin
Hamilton, Ont. January 29, 2016 – Zachary’s Paws for Healing is proud to announce our new partnership with Royal Canin, a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of high quality, specialized dog and cat foods in the veterinary, pet specialty and breeder channels. These two outstanding organizations understand the profound emotional benefit of one’s own pet to the recovery process. The partnership officially launched in December, 2015.
Zachary's Paws For Healing has facilitated over 50 patient/pet visits at Juravinski Hospital since September 15, 2015. The partnership with Royal Canin will give much support to Zachary’s Paws for Healing, allowing them to focus on continuing pet visits at Juravinski Hospital and expanding its operations across Canada.
Donna Jenkins, Founder of Zachary's Paws For Healing, said, "I believe that the partnership with Royal Canin is a perfect fit. We are so excited that Royal Canin has joined us in being an active member of the community, helping to improve the lives of pets and their humans by providing nutritional support to our foster program, supporting our fundraising efforts and providing their expertise in many behind-the-scenes functions. Royal Canin’s partnership will allow us to focus on expanding our program to hospitals across Canada. Together, we are demonstrating that patients and pets are a healing combination."
About Zachary’s Paws for Healing
Zachary Noble was a kind-hearted young man who especially loved his dogs and experienced first- hand the uplifting benefits of a hospital pet visit. After a long battle with an aggressive form of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, he passed away in November 2014. Zachary’s Paws for Healing
